Sharon Sokoloff, Ph.D. BIOGRAPHY

Sharon Sokoloff, Ph.D. is founder and principal of Opus II (OpusIImidlife.com) and director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Brandeis University (brandeis.edu/bolli).

With a doctorate from Brandeis’ Heller School of Policy and Management and Master of Science in Gerontology, she is a gerontologist, educator, policy analyst, researcher and consultant. Having practiced physical therapy for ten years, Sharon perceives and works with the whole person.

She is Vice President and chair of the professional standards committee of the Life Planning Network (lifeplanningnetwork.org) and on the board of the LEARN special interest group of the American Society on Aging (asaging.org).

“Sharon Sokoloff is a master at presentations to groups, large and small. She approaches her material with intellect, honesty, warmth, and conviction and, in so doing, connects emotionally and cognitively with her audiences. This results in informed, informative, lively discussion, whetting the appetite for further inquiry on one's own, and a thirst for continued contact with her. She is a treasured colleague, highly regarded, and much sought after speaker.”   George Klavens, M.D., P.C.
